Compact ring main units with the switching functions sealed inside a stainless-steel SF6 tank, so performance does not drift with dust, damp or salt in the air. Ring switches and tee-off breakers can be motorised and fitted with an RTU for feeder automation, letting the control room isolate a faulted section without a truck roll. Footprint is small enough for a kiosk or a basement substation.
