Automatic power factor correction panels that hold the power factor at your target through the day, switching capacitor steps on a microprocessor controller as the load moves. Where the installation carries drives, UPS or LED lighting, detuned reactors are fitted to keep harmonic currents out of the capacitors and protect them from resonance. The result shows up directly on the utility bill.
